Instructions for using online registration are here:
Adding a course after the last day:
The registration deadline to add a course is the Monday prior to the course start date. If you want to add a general education course after the last day to register, you must gain permission from the instructor. Although the School of Nursing may be able to provide assistance with the course add process, only the instructor can grant permission for a student to add the class.
Dropping a course:
If you are enrolled in more than one course and need to drop a course, you may do so by using the online registration process. To drop all your courses after the first day of the semester, please complete a course drop request here.
REMEMBER, if you are only registered for one class and you wish to drop that class, it is considered a full withdrawal, see below.
Dropping all courses (withdrawal):
If you need to drop ALL courses for which you are registered, University policy considers this a full withdrawal, and you cannot complete a full withdrawal through Web registration. To initiate a full withdrawal, you must contact the student services office in the College of Health Sciences and Professions (the college in which the nursing program resides). For more information, please complete a withdrawal request here.
REMEMBER, if you are only registered for one class and you wish to drop that class, it is considered a full withdrawal.
Refund policy:
Even if you drop a course, you may be responsible to pay a portion of the tuition/fees--regardless of whether or not you have attended class.
- A student must drop a course prior to the first day it meets to receive a 100% credit or refund
- Dropping a course on the first day will result in a 80% refund
- Typically, after the 4th day of a 5-week-long course a student is liable to pay full tuition, regardless of whether he/she attended class
- Current dates and deadlines specific to the RN-to-BSN program can be found HERE
For more information about refund of fees, visit the catalog HERE.
