APPLICATION PROCESS

To participate in the Early Start Freshman Summer Experience, fill out the Registration form. The Early Start Housing Contract will be available on April 1st.  Please follow these steps to access the form:

  • Go to www.ohio.edu/housing
  • Select "NEW STUDENT" contract
  • Enter student oak ID (e-mail) & password
  • Select "New Student Contract 2010 (Summer Session 2010)"
  • Read the terms and conditions of the contract
  • Select "Early Start" from the drop down menu which asks "in which summer program will you be participating?"
  • Answer the questions
  • Submit Contract

The Second Session housing fee is waived for those students who are enrolled for both First and Second Summer Sessions, although this is not specified on the Housing contract. 

This waiver will be activated upon completion of your Early Start Program registration form, indicating your intent to enroll for both Sessions, and submission of your Housing contract.

 
Housing Deposit

A deposit in the amount of $200.00 is required at the time the contract is submitted.  The deposit can be paid by check, or visit the Bursar to pay by credit card.

Housing for Summer Sessions 2010 has not yet been assigned.  For detailed information, visit the Housing.

 

Housing cost for Summer Sessions:

  • Suite Double - $1,936.00 full term or $981.50 per term
 
Meal Plan Rates
  • 14-Meal Plan   $1,315 full term or $657.50 first or second session only
  • 20-Meal Plan   $1,404 full term or $702 first or second session only

Register Early! Space is limited and participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis only, so don’t delay.

All registration materials are due by May 28, 2010.

You will receive confirmation of your participation in the program, along with more specific program information, optional programming seminars, extra curricular events, and roommate details during the week of May 31, 2010

You will register for both 1st and 2nd session classes during the Friday orientation session on June 18, 2010. This orientation session is mandatory.
