FEES and FINANCIAL AID

Fees for participation in the Early Start Freshman Summer Experience Program include:

  1. tuition and general fee charges based on the number of credit hours for which you register, and
  2. housing and dining fees if you live on campus.

Housing and dining fees are due by May 28, 2010 to secure your space. Individual fees for each housing and dining option are described on the Housing and Dining Form.

eBill is the official means of generating student account bills for all Ohio University students. Paper bills are NOT printed and mailed to enrolled students. Students are sent an email to their Ohio University Oak email account when an eBill is available for viewing. Please visit the Office of the Bursar for complete information on billing and payment.

FINANCIAL AID

You and your parents may be eligible to receive financial aid, in the form of loans or grants, to cover some of the tuition and residence expenses of the Early Start Freshman Summer Experience. If you are a recipient of PELL grant funds, some of this money may be applied to your student account in the Bursar’s Office to help cover tuition. Parent loan funds may also be used to cover expenses associated with this program.

Program participants wishing to apply for financial aid must complete a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you are interested in receiving aid to help cover some of the expenses of the Early Start Freshman Summer Experience Program. If you have already completed the 2010-2011. FAFSA, some of your award may be applied to summer quarter.

To find out how, or if you have additional Financial Aid questions, please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships at (740)593-4141.
