University Outreach at Ohio University provides access to quality learning opportunities for traditional and non-traditional students, broadening the University experience to those who cannot attend classes on an Ohio University campus. University Outreach acheives its mission by offering courses and degrees off-campus, through Web-based and video-based distance learning and through professional development and training opportunities across the region, throughout the state and across the globe.

In addition to traditional campus-based education, Ohio University has been engaging in lifelong and distance learning practices for more than 100 years, progressing within the field and developing state-of-the-art programs that offer specific support resources to students and equip them with highly valuable skills and competencies that are important to today’s employers.
