NEW PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
Ohio University has added three new bachelor’s completion programs that are accepting applications for fall 2014. Each of the programs enables students holding an associate degree to complete their studies toward a bachelor’s degree, virtually. Technical Operations Management: Learn to design, control and manage technical processes while continuously improving an organization’s operations. Students who studied engineering, industrial technologies, business management, or health technologies may be a good fit for this program, but other majors are accepted, too. Earn a Bachelor of Science in Technical Operations Management from the Russ College of Engineering and Technology and a minor in business from the College of Business.
Applied Communication: Study multiple communication fields and gain understanding of how they work together. Students will take courses from five schools in the Scripps College of Communication: E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, J.W. McClure School of Information and Telecommunication Systems, School of Communication Studies, School of Media Arts and Studies, School of Visual Communciation. Earn a Bachelor of Communication with a major in Applied Communication from the Scripps College of Communication.
Customer Service: Learn to communicate clearly, interact well with people, demonstrate ethical leadership, and develop program-solving skills that are effective within organizations—all valued characteristics for customer service representatives who play a critical role in providing an interface between customers and organizations. Earn a Bachelor of Applied Human and Consumer Sciences with a major in Customer Service from the Patton College of Education.
