Earn an Ohio University bachelor's degree -
without leaving the Ashland area!

If you have completed an applied associate degree from Ashland Community and Technical College* – or if you will soon – you are well on your way to a bachelor’s degree. And you can earn it without leaving home!Save Money!

*or another accredited community college, regional campus or technical college

You can take some courses at Ashland and others at Ohio University, either online or in-person right across the river at the Southern Campus in Ironton.

Pay Ashland tuition rate for all classes taken at Ashland and a special low rate for tuition for Ohio University courses.

2013-2014 academic year tuition for OHIO courses
Ohio Residents: $240 per credit hour for OHIO online courses ($243 non-resident)
$224 per credit hour for OHIO in-person courses in Ironton ($310 non-resident)

The courses you must take from Ohio University can be completed online, but Ashland students also have the convenient option of in-person classes at the nearby Southern Campus in Ironton.

Five academic programs offered!


Bachelor of Criminal Justice
Designed for those who have completed an associate degree in a related field, such as criminal justice or law enforcement, this degree enhances ability to advance a career.


Bachelor of Science in Applied Management
Intended for those who have completed an associate degree or two-year degree program and want to build knowledge and skills necessary for advancement in the field of management.


Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-to-BSN)
A degree program designed especially for registered nurses (RNs) who want to further their educations and advance their careers by earning a bachelor's degree in nursing.


Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies
A degree for those who have already completed an associate degree in any technical field (AAS, AAB or ATS) and want to build on that foundation to earn a baccalaureate degree.

Bachelor of Specialized Studies
The Bachelor of Specialized Studies program provides the means by which a student may, with the help of an advisor and consultation with faculty, design his or her degree program. This degree is offered in a flexible format that may include a combination of online courses, print-based courses, or independent learning courses.
