Scholarship opportunities!

University Partnership Academic Scholarship
Determined based on academic excellence, hours enrolled, and unusual circumstances that are documented on the application. Application deadline is May 31, 2009. Applicants must:

  • have a minimum 3.25 GPA
  • be enrolled in a minimum of one course duing Fall Quarter/Semester with a University Partner on LCCC's campus
  • be a U.S. Citizen or an eligible non-citizen
  • submit the completed scholarship application with required documentation

University Partnership Empowerment Award Can be used to help pay for tuition, books, and other educational expenses. Application deadline is May 31, 2009. Applicants must:

  • have a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • be a U.S. Citizen
  • file the 09-10 FAFSA
  • complete the scholarship application
  • and enroll in a minimum of one course for Fall Quarter or Fall Semester in a program leading to a degree or certificate with a University Partner

The Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) Approved Courses Bulletin Board is provided by the Ohio Board of Regents to help students find equivalent, or equal, TAG approved courses at Ohio public institutions of higher education.

Transfer Guides Specific to Lorain Major

Click on your Lorain County Community College major to view a copy of a transfer guide showing what additional courses are needed for you to complete the Ohio University BTAS.

Students must complete a minimum of 48 credit hours through Ohio University, including 50% of the courses required for the major.

   
BTAS GUIDES
Students may not take more than five (5) BTAS core/major courses at Hocking. If more than two (2) BTAS core/major courses are transferred in, students must replace the courses with Ohio University electives.
