Course
Description

Welcome to Geography 121, Human Geography. I am James W. Newton, PhD and I will be your professor as we work our way through this course.

This is an Internet Based course. Internet Based courses are an interesting an exciting way to deliver education, however, these courses demand much discipline on the part of the student. You will be expected to keep pace with the weekly assignments.

Each week you will be responsible for reading one or two chapters in the textbook. In addition, you will have homework assignments which cover the material assigned from the weekly readings and the lecture notes.  Homework assignments are given out on Fridays and due the following Friday. The dates are indicated in the Assignment site in Blackboard.

I am pleased that you have chosen this course and I look forward to working with you as we proceed on this Geographic Journey of Human Geography.
