Course
Description

Graphs, inverses, and operations of functions. Study of polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Additional topics from trigonometry and analytic geometry. Recommended only for students intending to enroll in the 263 calculus sequence.

Prerequisites

MATH 113 or Math placement level 2 or higher.

Course Objectives

(Catalog) Math 115 includes a study of graphs, functions , inverse functions, and operations on functions. Polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and  trigonometric functions are studied.  The course includes some additional topics in analytic geometry and trigonometry.

General Course Requirements

Twelve written assignments, a midterm and a final exam.
