UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE
An undergraduate degree in business is NOT a prerequisite for admission. Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree in any discipline from an accredited institution.
PREREQUISITES
Experience counts! Prerequisite course work is not required. The first term of study in the program consists of the foundation work you'll need to continue in the program.
PRE-ADMISSION INTERVIEW
Pre-admission interviews will be scheduled during November and December 2009. Admission decisions are weighted heavily in favor of the strength of the recommendation letters and fit. Preference in admission is given to individuals with at least 3 years of experience. The GMAT, or any other test, is not required.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for the program follow the instructions on the College of Business Web site. You will need:
- An up-to-date and current professional resume.
- A professional goals statement.
- Three letters of recommendation.
One letter needs to be provided by your immediate supervisor. The other two can be from former employers, professional colleagues, or an individual who has worked closely with you on a project. Individuals who are self-employed can ask their legal counsel, accountant, or a client to submit letters on their behalf.
Admission to the Professional MBA program is highly competitive and selective. Factors considered in the admission decision include years of experience, strength of recommendation letters, relevance of goals statement, academic and career achievements, fit, and finally a pre-admission interview. |
